Constructed specifically for the 2025 World Aquatics Championships, the WCH Arena is a temporary venue erected on the site of an existing open air carpark and crafted to meet both functional excellence and aesthetic standards for the international meet.

The arena accommodates approximately 4,800 spectators and houses two adjacent 50 m x 26 m x 3 m indoor pools, each with 10 lanes – one designated for competition and the other for warm-up.

Taking just over 5 months to complete, foundation work began in December 2024, with construction carried out swiftly from January to May 2025.
