RVD publishes verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for key product lines, advancing transparency in sustainable precast
Robin Village Development (RVD), a leading provider of advanced precast and prefabrication solutions under Tiong Seng Engineering Solutions, has published three independently verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) on EPD Hub, underscoring its commitment to sustainability, transparency and innovation in construction.
The new EPDs cover:
- Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) Prefabricated Bathroom Unit (PBU) – Exceptional durability and maneuverability, being up to 60% lighter than conventional PBUs. Its ultra-low permeability ensures long service in wet areas, while offsite fabrication makes it safer, faster, and non-critical path for high-rise projects where speed and ease of installation are crucial.
- Hybrid Prefabricated Bathroom Unit (PBU) – A smart balance of performance and cost, combining UHPC durability and lightweight concrete efficiency. This hybrid system offers reliable waterproofing, fire safety, and improved insulation, giving developers flexibility to meet both sustainability and budget goals.
- Precast Elements (C32/40 to C50/60 concrete with reinforcement) – Robust and versatile everyday building components, delivering consistency, strength and speed across a broad range of structural and architectural applications. Manufactured under strict quality control, these elements reduce defects, accelerate construction, and provide long-term reliability for residential, commercial and institutional projects.
All three EPDs are third-party verified in accordance with EN 15804+A2:2019 and valid until 2030. They provide cradle-to-grave transparency on embodied carbon, giving clients, consultants, and developers access to verified life-cycle data that can be readily integrated into project decision-making.
