NS Hub – A Landmark in Defence and Civic Infrastructure.
Completed in 2025, Singapore’s new Central Manpower Base (CMPB), also known as NS Hub, is a landmark defence and civic complex that redefines Singapore’s approach to National Service infrastructure. Located opposite Cashew MRT and linked via a dedicated bridge, the 9-hectare development consolidates enlistment, medical, and fitness facilities into a single integrated hub.
Its design features long-span structural systems, a sheltered running track housed within landscaped courtyards, and extensive community amenities such as a food court, childcare centre, and retail Lifestylemart – serving both both servicemen and the wider public. The hub also houses the SAF’s second Regional Health Hub (RHH), delivering streamlined healthcare services for soldiers.
More than an administrative centre, NS Hub is a purpose-built, future-ready development that showcases the fusion of functional design, construction innovation, and civic openness. Constructed using digital and modular methods with early contractor collaboration, it achieved greater speed, precision, and safety during delivery.
Recognised with the BCA Project of the Year Award 2025 (Institutional), NS Hub stands as a benchmark in sustainable, collaborative, and community-centric infrastructure.
