Tiong Seng Engineering Solutions (TSES) warmly congratulates its partners on CapitaSpring’s recognition with the President’s Design Award (Design of the Year) 2023, Singapore’s highest honour for design excellence.

Completed in 2022, CapitaSpring is a 280-metre, 51-storey vertical city rising in the heart of Raffles Place. Designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and Carlo Ratti Associati (CRA), the landmark development integrates Grade A offices, serviced residences, retail, and community spaces into one of Singapore’s most distinctive mixed-use towers.

At its heart lies the Green Oasis—a 4-storey, ~35-metre-tall sky garden with over 80,000 plants spread across more than 90,000 square feet of landscaped space, complemented by a rooftop garden and Singapore’s highest urban farm. With its BCA Green Mark Platinum certification, CapitaSpring exemplifies the synergy of architecture, sustainability, and community in a high-density urban environment.

Robin Village Development (RVD), a subsidiary of TSES, is honoured to have contributed to this award-winning project through the delivery of the red GFRC cladding that defines the walkways of the Green Oasis, as well as the woodgrain-textured GFRC decorative centrepiece in the main lobby. Crafted using multiple real timber planks, the centrepiece achieves a natural woodgrain texture that underscores the project’s commitment to materiality and design detail.
